Who we are
Agricultural company started by the new generations, marked by a strong pandemic, opens its doors from spring 2022, maintaining the passion and authenticity of the typical flavors of Piacenza. In our Piacenza, a land suited to wine production in Emilia-Romagna, a parallel reality is carried out; Albasi family: the historic company that has boasted a presence on Italian territory for over 50 years thanks to grandfather Pietro, grandmother Anna, parents Michela and Luigi, who continue to produce excellent wines for all palates. To date, Tenuta Mulino Segalini and Cantina Albasi have entered into a connection with each other to start and progress what is a dream...
Our history
Albasi winery
1968
Guglielmo Albasi ebbe l'idea di aprire una piccolissima realtà familiare a Pieve Dugliara (Rivergaro PC) con il figlio Pietro e le figlie Dirce, Maria, Odiglie e Adriana.
1970
His son Pietro and his sisters leave Guglielmo's new small company and go to open a dairy in the center of Piacenza (Via Mazzini)
1972
Pietro Albasi, breaks away from his sisters and the dairy, with his wife Anna, to continue his father Guglielmo's dream of continuing in the wine sector by opening Cantina Albasi in the historic center of Carpaneto Piacentino
1975
The entire winery is moved to Piazza Oliveti (historic center of Carpaneto Piacentino).
1980
A lot is purchased in the industrial area of Carpaneto Piacentino, starting construction work on both the new cellar and the house
1981
Total transfer from Piazza Oliveti to the new artisan area of Carpaneto Piacentino, (Via bricchi 1) where the company still resides today
1981
Inizia la produzione di 10 tipi di vino :
- Gutturnio - Barbera
- Croatina - Bonarda
-Malvasia - Ortrugo
- Riesling - Pinot Grigio
- Pinot Nero - Sauvignon Blanc
2000
Takeover of the company by Pietro's son-in-law (Luigi Segalini) who married his daughter Michela, giving birth to his son Riccardo Segalini
2003
Never change a winning team!
The team made up of passionate and willing young people carries the company forward by implementing some company innovations including:
- Bottle washer for reusing the vacuum
- Die-cutting machine
- Labeler
2009
They implement the fully automated bottling line
2012
The kids take training courses for wine, beer and beverage dispensing systems... with inclusion in the HORECA market
2015
Pietro Albasi leaves the company to Michela Albasi and Luigi Segalini, forming "Cantina Albasi SNC"
2019
Recovery of a historic vineyard dating back over 50 years to make a reserve
2020
Iniziano degli anni molto duri per tutti quanti causa COVID.
